Questa congregazione è stata fondata nel 1903 dal vescovo Adolf Lechaptois.
Il villaggio di Utengule, che si trova a 7 km dalla città di Sumbawanga, non ha pozzi d’acqua potabile e la rete idrica municipale non fornisce acqua sufficiente nemmeno per uso quotidiano.
Le suore hanno dato la disponibilità di scavare il pozzo presso il “Fatima Convent Centre”, un centro che appartiene alle suore ma che viene utilizzato da tutta la popolazione per convegni, ritiri e workshop.
Tutti potranno andare a prendere l’acqua e pagheranno una somma irrisoria, che permetterà di pagare l’elettricità che alimenta la pompa.
